Safer Structures at the Labour Party’s Conference 2022

Tratos attended the Labour Party Conference 2022, which was organised in Liverpool on 25 – 28 September. A key line during Starmer’s speech was “country first, party second”, which gave a clear message to the Labour Party members to put an end to the internal fighting end unite to win the next elections.  

Tratos attended as an exhibitor in expression of its strong Social Corporate Responsibility and focused on advancing support for the Safer Structures Campaign.

During these intensive days Tratos team have met several labour members and activists, explained the need for raising standards of cables used in the construction sector to build homes and other urban settlements across the UK to ensure safety.

Over thousands more signatures were collected during these days and all the documentation will be passed to the Parliamentary Committee and the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities for their consideration.

Tratos hopes that this initiative will build enough momentum and be considered properly by the legislators soon.
